You can collect Achievement Badges at all levels of the Pony Club. Some Members sew their badges on their sweatshirts, but you may also like to sew them onto a Pony Club Fleece Blanket.

What are Pony Club badges?

The Pony Club Mini Achievement Badge Scheme is a great way to gain more knowledge of horsemanship and the countryside, and you can have a lot of fun while you’re doing it! Mini Achievement Badges are aimed at Members working through their E test and towards their D Test.

The objective of the C+ Test is “to gain practical experience and knowledge of the care of a stabled pony and of a pony at grass”. The minimum age a child should take the test be is 13 and if they pass, they are awarded with a turquoise felt to pin underneath their Pony Club badge.

Chiddingfold polo shirt or white/blue plain shirts or top. A PC sweatshirt/jacket or plain coloured jacket without a hood maybe worn.

What should I wear to The Pony Club test?

You should wear a tweed jacket, with Pony Club badge and felt on the left lapel. Shirt and Pony Club tie. Gloves, correctly fitted body protector for jumping, medical armband, Jodhpur boots and half chaps. Jodphurs can be cream or beige.
