What happens on a pony day?! A pony day is all to do with learning about the day to day working of how we look after the ponies. So there will be mucking out, grooming and a riding lesson. There will be a study session on different things such as, name the tack, parts of the horse, name the grooming kit etc.
What do you do on a pony day?
Fun horse fancy dress sessions, including feather boas, bows and flowers to decorate the horses with. Learning all about the horse’s tack, tack cleaning and how to tack the horses up correctly. Riding session, which will usually be a fun gymkhana or obstacle course so riding experience is not essential.

Pony camp meant that you were assigned to a pony for a whole week. And for that week, that pony was yours. You got to ride him, feed him, and take care of him every single day, and it was the closest to owning a pony that you’d ever come.

What is a C+ in Pony Club?
It is the first of the riding certifications to evaluate a member’s ability to transfer their riding skills from their own horse to an unknown horse. If the C-3 riding test is passed before the H-B, the member becomes a C+. The minimum age for the C-3 certification is 13 years old.
