Tickets for Royal Windsor Horse Show 2023 are now on sale. There are three types of tickets to the show – General Entry (which can come with additional reserved grandstand seating in the Castle Arena), The Castle Stand with its own dedicated bar, and Membership of Royal Windsor Horse Show Club.
Can I wear jeans to the Royal Windsor Horse Show?
The organisers require ‘patrons to be smartly dressed’. Those wearing blue denim jeans and or trainers, or ‘sports attire’ will be turned away and ‘Gentlemen’ should wear a jacket and collared shirt.

Where do you park at Royal Windsor Horse Show?

The main public car park is located in Home Park Public, opposite the Box Office entrance to the Show. Parking is on grass and is around a 5-10 minute walk to the Showground itself. Spaces are limited so we do recommend booking in advance. Disabled car parking is located in the King Edward VII Car Park.
Can you wear jeans to horse racing?
Smart denim jeans are acceptable, however jeans must not have tears or rips. You don’t need a hat or fascinator on any race days outside The Derby.
How much do you tip the groom at the horse show?
Tipping: $10 per day is suggested beginning on the day the grooms arrive at the show. There may be times where the client will pay the groom directly.
Should you ride the day before a horse show?
Getting there a day earlier will allow you to set up the stall and get all of your other things together such as handing in forms and getting your tack situated. Also walking or riding your horse around the show grounds will allow him to get a sneak peek at everything that is around him.
Do you have to wear gloves in a horse show?
Colored helmets and plastic ones are NOT appropriate for competition. In equitation classes, riders are required to wear gloves. Many riders prefer to ride with gloves, and using them is always permissible. Gloves used in competition should be solid black, without fancy stitching or other adornments.
