How To Change What Parameter Is Displayed

  1. Link your Accessport to your vehicle and turn it on.
  2. Select “Gauges” from the main menu.
  3. Scroll up or down until the gauge you want to change is selected.
  4. Select Change Monitor.
  5. Select the monitor you wish to view from the selected list.
  6. Once selected, you’re all done!

How do I reset my Cobb AP?

Steps to Use:
Go to the Troubleshooting menu on the main screen of your Accessport. Select scroll down and select “Reset Oil LIfe” Once you select it you should receive a warning message. When you’re done you should see a message letting you know it was finished.

This is an option to get a burble tune created for any Cobb Off The Shelf (OTS) map. We will create a new separate tune with this featured added that you can flash and use. The burble effect is simply some pops or exhaust crackle between shifts or when coasting in gear above 3200 rpms.

The short answer is no. Replacing the instrument or gauge cluster won’t reset the mileage.

What does the button on my gauge cluster do?

Many of these instrument clusters with a screen also come with a button near the monitor. When you press the button, that triggers the monitor to display a different set of information.

Can a car start without cluster?

Yes, you can still start and run your vehicle without the instrument cluster.

Why are my gauges reading wrong?

The most common problem that causes the fuel gauge to read incorrectly is a bad fuel sending unit. The fuel sending unit is used to measure the amount of fuel in the fuel tank and communicate the fuel level to the fuel gauge on the vehicle dashboard.

What causes my gauges to go crazy?

Erratic gauges, or ones that seem to read uniformly low, are usually caused by a bad instrument voltage regulator. In some cases, you may be able to remove the regulator, clean the connector terminals, and reinstall it. Gauges that all read full all the time are usually caused by a loose or bad ground.
