The Cobb Premier+ Gas is a portable outdoor cooking appliance. With the Gas Cobb you can grill, fry, roast and bake. You can cook anything, anywhere, anytime!

How does a Cobb work?

The COBB simply works off Cobblestone or charcoal briquettes. The cooker can reach a cooking temperature of up to 300 degrees and allows you a cooking time of up to 2 hours on 1x Cobblestone. After cooking you simply lift the removable fire basket and dump the cooled ashes.

Is a Cobb a BBQ?

The Cobb barbecue has various features that set it apart from other barbecues. While it can use normal charcoal briquettes it can also burn smoke free cobblestones meaning it has a low carbon footprint.

Do not light or use the Cobb indoors. Do not cover the Cobb with a cooking surface or dome until coals are 30% grey in colour. Do not add extra unlit coals when you are cooking food.

Can you smoke meat on a COBB?

Add Woodchips to “Ready to BBQ Charcoal” Also add Water or flavoured water or beer to your Cobb. When the Cobb starts smoking add the seasoned chicken to the cobb BBQ using the frying plate with the roast rack on top. Place the lid on the Cobb BBQ and Leave for 2 to 3 Hours.

Can you smoke on a Cobb BBQ?

Turn your Cobb Grill into a hot smoker by simply sprinkling some soaked smoking chips on-top of your hot Cobblestone or charcoal. If you are using the COBB Gas, simply place a small dish filled with smoking chips on-top of the heat source and let it smoke away.

What do you put in a Cobb?

Any good quality briquette will work just fine in the Cobb, better quality briquettes burn cleaner, hotter and longer. We recommend a product called “Heat Beads” which are available from our website.

Can you use a COBB in the rain?

Rain can be one of the main enemies to the integrity of your cob structure. But at the same time, cob walls can actually withstand a tremendous amount of water hitting them and still be fine. Its more the slow “drip” and consistent dampness that we want to avoid.

Does a Cobb air intake need a tune?

A: The only thing required for the intake is a custom tune or the Cobb AccessPort and nothing else is needed. Recommendations for other parts will depend on your goals for the car.

How long does a Cobb tune take?

This process can take 5-30 minutes depending on the vehicle. We highly recommend using a battery charger for the Install and Uninstall process.

Does a Cobb AccessPort make your car faster?

Even if you have no other modifications the Accessport can still offer a noticeable increase in power that will make your car faster. The fundamental objective for increasing power is upping the amount of air and fuel we can burn in a combustion cycle.

Does a Cobb exhaust void warranty?

While using the Cobb AccessPort shouldn’t void your warranty, the manufacturer could deny certain claims. Plugging in a Cobb Accessport is unlikely to cause any damage, but any major modifications made to the ECU could damage the system.

Can you cook chips on a COBB?

Place the Grill Grid, Roast Rack, and Dome Lid on COBB Grill and let heat up for at least 5 minutes. Soak wood chips in water prior to cooking. Once soaked, place smoking chips on the CobbleStone or charcoal.
