Does Cobb Accessport work with any car?

Each Accessport is only compatible with certain vehicles. With many platforms, it can even be specific vehicles through specific model year ranges. Luckily, it’s pretty easy to determine which Accessport part number you need.

Can you still tune with Cobb?

A: Yes! Your Accessport can still be used to tune your car just like you always have. Your Accessport still has the same functionality it had prior to the change that was made to our Accesstuner custom tuning software.

Does Cobb Accessport add HP?

Cobb accessport will give approx 25+ hp and 14+ torque. The cold air intake from cobb will not give any more hp gains but will give the intake some noises and make the car seem faster or stronger. The stock intake is roughly good for about 400 hp.

Can STi use WRX Accessport?

Accessport. SUB-004 Accessports using firmware version 1.7. 4.2-18478 and newer are compatible with the 2021 WRX STi.

How long does a Cobb tune take?

This process can take 5-30 minutes depending on the vehicle. We highly recommend using a battery charger for the Install and Uninstall process.

Does an Accessport void your warranty?

While using the Cobb AccessPort shouldn’t void your warranty, the manufacturer could deny certain claims. Plugging in a Cobb Accessport is unlikely to cause any damage, but any major modifications made to the ECU could damage the system.

Can Cobb Accessport change tire size?

You can now adjust the tire size directly on the Accessport. This allows the correct read out for speedometer calculations. Note that if you have a different way of accomplishing this prior to this update, it should be re-adjusted with the Accessport (to avoid DTCs).
